In 2008, 24-year-old Mark Bulkassi, now homeless, moves in with an old group of friends. When even that falls apart due to a useless landlord, the group uses any filmmaking and internet connection at their disposal. LEGO stop motion, kiddie pool baptisms, male strippers, and homemade explosives all help build to a shocking twist of fate that makes him reconsider his place in the world and in time.

The film will be shot through all of Omaha, Papillion, and even some in Lincoln. Talent and crew will be used from these respective locations, as well as using real people mixed in with the actors in said locations.
We want to make sure Omaha, more specifically Nebraska is represented well in the film, and having the story set there we can give the movie new life in the state.

The film features many actors, ones who are professionals and ones who are first time. But it also features people that I have just met day of. Think of “Borat” and “Nirvanna the Band the Show” for how real people and actors are mixed on screen.
It’s a Visual Art form
Remember how the old internet pre-financial crisis used to feel like the wild west of the time? That’s what we plan to replicate. Always unpredictable, but constantly entertaining. An MTV/skate video splash of adrenaline between each scene. But always focused on each of the main characters and what they plan to dig up from the past.
Shot primarily on a Panasonic DVX100 and a Blackmagic, the film bounces around visual styles and presentations. Replicating the chaotic feel of the internet in 2008, as well as the multiple character P.O.V.s
